Kent & East Sussex Railway

One Day Photography Course

Thursday 28th May, Saturday 27th June and Wednesday 8th July

Join professional photographer of 30 years, Steve Hedges, for an exclusive photographic course at the Kent & East Sussex Railway

Having been shortlisted in both Outdoor Photographer of the Year and British Wildlife Photographer of the Year on several occasions, Steve offers wildlife, landscape and general photography courses around the UK and we are delighted to welcome him to the railway for the first time.

With a maximum group size of 6, this exclusive event will give you plenty of opportunity to learn more about how to capture that perfect railway shot.

The day starts with a 7.30 am start at Rolvenden locomotive yard, an area not normally open to the public, where you will have the opportunity to photograph the steam raising activities before returning to Tenterden for a light breakfast.

Having photographed the locomotive in steam at Tenterden Station, you then take the train to Bodiam where Steve will share more of his expertise en route before disembarking to photograph the run around and coupling before returning to Tenterden where your experience ends at around 13.30 pm
