Kent & East Sussex Railway Partners with TechZone to Launch the World’s First

“Ultimate Gaming Train”

Kent & East Sussex Railway is thrilled to announce an exciting partnership with TechZone, the UK’s premier gaming company and pioneers of the Ultimate Gaming Party.

Together, we are introducing another world-first experience — the

“Ultimate Gaming Train.”

Running Monday to Friday during the May half-term, this specially converted gaming carriage will allow participants to experience cutting-edge gaming technology while enjoying the picturesque countryside views. Customers will have access to:
• Next-Gen Gaming on the Move – Featuring Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, and a wide range of the latest games.
• Custom Racing Simulators – Offering an immersive racing experience with top-tier Fanatec steering wheels and pedals, bringing the thrill of competition to life.
• A Unique Gaming Setting – Enjoy gaming in an exclusive railway carriage while watching the beautiful countryside pass by.
• Relaxing Space for Parents & Carers – A dedicated seating area ensures adults can unwind while the gaming experience unfolds.
• Supervised Gaming – All activities will be monitored by trained TechZone staff, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all participants.

This one-of-a-kind collaboration blends the timeless charm of heritage railway travel with the excitement of modern gaming, creating a must-visit experience for families, gamers, and event-goers alike.

Techzone gaming tickets are £49.50 and include a 50 minute gaming session for one gamer plus one adult companion (seated in the same carriage) on a steam train service from Tenterden Town & Bodiam stations. The return journey may be taken in other carriages within the train - or if you are travelling out on the morning service, you're free to break your journey at Bodiam to explore the area and return by a later train.
