Unique discount voucher codes can be generated to be used as a booking incentive, to discount the purchase of an item as part of a package, or as a goodwill gesture. The voucher codes have a specific value and may be used once only in full or part - note that no unused balance remains available if the voucher is used in part.
If the customer attempts to use the code but fails to checkout correctly (eg because of an abandoned cart or failed Worldpay payment), the voucher code will remain in a "reserved" state. To release the voucher:
- Go to Setup - Voucher Schemes
- Search for the voucher code by its number, or search for all Reserved vouchers by selecting the checkbox:
- Having identified the voucher, select it and click "Un-Reserve Selected Vouchers"
- The code is now released and may be redeemed in an online or in person purchase
