This is an introductory course for parents wanting their children to learn to ride safely on a bicycle or increase their confidence and skills: This fun and engaging course aims to provide a comprehensive program that will take the rider from complete beginner to being able to ride solo comfortably on their own and be able to signal, manoeuvre and start and stop a journey. It includes:
How to ride safely Correct clothing How to fit helmet Starting and stopping a journey Balancing on the bike Avoiding potholes & obstacles in the road Signalling Controlled stop and emergency stop
1.5 hours long and has a maximum of 10 children per lesson.
Cost is £10 per session
age groups available will be
4 to 5 year olds will 09:00-10:30
6 to 8 years, 11am-12:30
9 to 11 years, 14:00-15:30
Your instructor is a Kent County Council cycling instructor, first aid trained and is DBS checked.
