The Kent & East Sussex Railway is one of the UK’s most loved heritage railways, located in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. We are currently seeking Hospitality Assistants. The successful applicants will undertake a variety of duties, working in our Gift Shops, Catering outlets or traveling onboard our trains to provide an at-seat service, selling a wide range of gifts, souvenirs, food, drinks and alcohol. We are famed for our warm & friendly staff, so you’ll excel in customer service and be an ambassador for the K&ESR.

You must be able to work quickly and consistently yet always with pride; ideally you will have previous experience of retail or commercial catering, but copious enthusiasm and a willingness to work hard are the essential requirements. You’ll have your own transport and a full driving licence enabling you to work at any of our rural locations.

Roles are based at Tenterden Town Station (TN30 6HE) and the successful applicants must have the flexibility to work at any of our locations at weekends and Bank Holidays.
