Calligraphy and Folk Art Workshops

Introduction to Folk Art at 10:00 and 14:00

 

Learn the basic techniques of Folk Art, also known as the art of everyday people, under the tuition of Karen Mannering.

In these one hour workshops, suitable for 6 years and above, children will have time to create two of their very own cards to take away with them. All materials are supplied.

Introduction to Calligraphy - noon

In this one hour workshop, suitable for 12 years and above, children will learn the basic techniques of modern calligraphy using a brush pen. After mastering the technique using special worksheets, there will be ample time to create two cards to take home.

Price includes all materials and the option to take the pen and calligraphy worksheets home with you as a souvenir of the day.
