Green Fun Day

10am to 4pm
In partnership with Sustainable Tenterden, join us for a fun packed day with a variety of different crafts, activities and stalls including the below. Please check back regularly for futher updates.
- Tenterden Repair Cafe volunteers will be on hand to show you how to repair a variety of household items at intervals throughout the day. Children will also have the opportunity to try out their very own repair on an electric microscope under expert guidance.
- Ever wondered what lurks in ponds? Trevor Boulden of Tenterden Wildlife Group will be on hand to help you discover for yourself, with a pond dipping activity.
- Meet baby goats and lambs thanks to Homewood School, who will also be happy to share tips on sustainable farming.
- Have your face painted and try out a variety of craft activities using recycled items.
- Get plenty of tips on how to live more sustainably.
- Local charity, Demelza, will be offering a wide selection of pre-loved toys.
