The Kent & East Sussex Railway is one of the UK’s most loved heritage railways, whose line currently stretches for over 10 miles through a stunning area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in Kent and East Sussex.

We work hard to bring the sights, sounds, and sensations of a different era to life!

As a Hospitality Team Leader you’ll undertake a diverse variety of duties working primarily in our hospitality outlets, at stations and onboard our trains, to provide a high-quality at-seat service. You’ll need to be able to prepare meals to the highest standards in on-train and station food preparation areas. You’ll be comfortable serving meals at seat and capable of moving a fully loaded refreshment trolley through a moving train. You’ll excel at working quickly and consistently under pressure, yet always with pride; ideally you will have previous experience of commercial catering, but copious enthusiasm and a willingness to work hard are the essential requirements. The roles are based at Tenterden Town Station (TN30 6HE) and the successful applicants must have the flexibility to work weekends and Bank Holidays.
