Steam locomotives operating public services will be drawn from: 25 Northiam, 4144, 75008 Swiftsure, 70 Poplar and Knowle 2678. Our popular Diesel Mechanical Multiple Unit (“DMMU”) operates many services during the Green Timetable and is a great way to see the line, surrounding countryside and wildlife from a very different perspective – the seats behind the driver are always popular! Class 14 D9526 will be providing our diesel cover and may operate some public services. Find out more about these locomotives by clicking on their numbers/names above.
SET A is formed of our Ex British Rail MK1 stock or a mix of MK1’s and Southern Railway Maunsell coaches.
SET B is formed of Southern Railway Maunsell Coaches and/or BR MK1’s. This can include the SE&CR Birdcage 1100.
SET V is formed of our 4 wheeler, 6 wheeler coaches. This set really does take you back to a by gone era.
SET DMMU is our Class 108 Diesel Mechanical Multiple Unit, Also known as a DMU which offers fantastic views of the Kent & East Sussex Countryside.
