This May half term holiday,

we are turning one of our railway carriages into a hands-on creative play space packed with thousands of LEGO® and DUPLO® bricks

 

Children (and grown-ups too!) are invited to climb aboard, take a seat and let their imaginations run wild.

 

Enjoy a  relaxed, family-friendly space to build and play together.

May Half-Term Willow Workshops – Wednesday 27th May



Join us this May half-term for creative Willow Workshops with local tutor Marianne of Craftybasketry! Children can make their own willow dragonfly or bird feeder while learning traditional basket weaving skills in a fun, supportive environment.


🪶 Dragonfly Workshops (ages 8–12)

One-hour sessions at

10:00, 11:30, 14:00 & 15:30

£20 includes materials for one child and accompanying adult to each make a dragonfly.


🐦 Bird Feeder Workshops (ages 12–15)

Two-hour sessions at

10:30 & 14:30

Create a beautiful willow bird feeder to take home.

Why not make a day of it with a return train trip to Bodiam through the beautiful Wealden countryside? 


Children attending a workshop travel FREE with a fare-paying adult or senior.

Step aboard the ‘Rother Valley Limited’ Restaurant Car and enjoy a relaxing journey through the beautiful Weald while indulging in delicious refreshments freshly prepared in the

on-board kitchen and served at your seat.


Available on the 3:40pm departure from Tenterden, this charming afternoon experience is the perfect way to unwind with friends and family.
