AGM 2025 Update

Live Streaming Will Now Be Available

Thank you to our members on social media who asked the question "could the AGM be streamed live online for those unable to attend" - or words to that effect! 

The answer is yes, we have managed to organise a live feed. If you're unable to join in person but would still like to hear what's discussed and agreed, please join us via this link from 1.30pm on Saturday 8th November (until approximately 3.45pm).

Join Us for a Ride Behind the Thumper!

If you're planning to attend the K&ESR AGM, you are cordially invited to join us for a ride behind the British Rail Class 205 ‘Thumper’ Unit 1118 from Tenterden Town Station to Wittersham Road either before and/or after the official railway business. 

The Members and Volunteers' train has been organised by Sarah Tagart, fresh from her exertions on the beautifully restored Pump Trolley. Grab a cup of tea and chew over the day's events riding behind this iconic locomotive. 

The train will depart Tenterden at 12:00, returning at 13:00 in time for the 13:30 start. And again departing 16:00, returning at 17:00. Do join us if you can!

Just Giving Page for the 1638 Appeal

If you have already donated, or are already a regular donor, our thanks to you as we continue the restoration of the Pannier 1638, our only wholly owned locomotive.
