Parks & Rides

Possibly one of the best kept secrets of the High Weald, Hole Park Gardens is situated on the edge of Rolvenden and provides a wonderful escape into a tranquil and beautiful world, far removed from the daily hustle and bustle.  The formal Edwardian layout is highlighted by the contrast with the stunning 250 acres of well-wooded parkland that surrounds it.

A tour is available Monday to Friday when trains operate.

Arriving at 10:30am you will be greeted and taken for a private guided tour around these spectacular gardens, lasting approximately an hour and a half.  A 12:30 departure from Hole Park will allow sufficient time for your group to trave to the Kent & East Sussex Railway station at Tenterden, to catch the 1.15pm steam train to Bodiam, which arrives back at Tenterden at 3.10pm.  Your party will enjoy a Ploughman's lunch, served at your reserved seats while the scenery and stunning countryside of the Rother Valley rolls by the window.
