HRH Half Term

Join us for a Right Royal Railway Ride with a Make & Take Activity this February Half-Term

Tuesday 13th February - Thursday 15th February

 P Edwards USA tank 1217

We're so excited about the forthcoming Royal Wedding we've decided for the first time in many years, to run steam trains from Tenterden to Bodiam during February half term!  Why not take take the opportunity to ride with us and to visit Bodiam Castle and join their half term trail?

Steam along from Tenterden to Bodiam whilst keeping warm and dry through the beautiful Kent & East Sussex countryside whilst your children are decorating their own crowns, swords and princess mirrors on board during the journey.  Back by popular demand there will also be a magician travelling through each train to amuse you at your tables.

The 10:40, 13:15 and 15:35 departures have on-train catering and access for wheelchair users.  In addition to hot and cold drinks, why not pre-book a Kids Munch Box, Cream Tea or Ploughmans to enjoy onboard these trains.  TravelCards include the above activities and are valid for all day travel so you can hop on and off at any station.  On your return journey to Tenterden why not complete our Royal Activity Sheet with fun facts about the history of our British Royal Family.

At Tenterden Town our Station Refreshment rooms will be open 10:00-16:30 selling cooked breakfast, hot and cold lunches, drinks and snacks. Whilst at Tenterden why not visit our "pop-up Pocket Money Shop" and the award-winning Colonel Stephens Museum - free entry with valid ticket.
